Marie Hull Daumant, 73, of Westminster died Sunday May 17th after an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Marjorie Hull. She was the wife of Adolf Daumant who passed away in 2013. They were married 49 years. They met on John Street where they both frequently walked while she worked for Tevis Oil and Al worked for Southern States. They lived in Lafeyette, N.J; Littlestown, PA; and then came back to Westminster to work for Bowman's Hatchery from 1969 to 1988. She then worked nine more years in the office of R.D. Bowman and Sons. She also helped her identical twin Marjorie at the Baugher's Fruit Stand during the Carroll County Farmer's Market for many years. She enjoyed family, especially spoiling grandchildren, going to yard sales, cooking and being available whenever needed. Surviving siblings are Ellen Wright of Florida, Edwin Hull and Marjorie Baugher both of Westminster. Daughters and sons-in-law Karen and Robert Langevin, Dianne and Jason Tate, Carmen and Mark Mandl, Linda Daumant and Adrian Barrera. Grandchildren Kandice Pearre, Manley, Meredith, Wayne, Cole, and James Tate, Abbey and David Mandl, Clayton Langevin and Landon Barrera. Great grandchildren Layla Lagunas and Weston Pearre. Per her wishes her body was donated to Medical Science. The family will receive friends and family Sunday, May 24th at 1:00 until the start of the memorial service at 2:00 at Grace Hall of Grace Lutheran Church 21 Carroll Street, Westminster Maryland. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tevis Center for Wellness.
