Marion Reginia Rudd, of Finksburg, Md., died Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at the Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, Md. The former resident of Pasadena, MD was 72 years old. Born in Keyser, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Rosalie Wilson Fraley and Howard Fraley. She was an accomplished landscape painter, an avid dancer and loved trips to Ocean City, hosting crab feasts, watching scary movies, reading novels, crafting ceramics and spending time with family and friends. She was famous for her fried potatoes, homemade hot rolls, and strawberry shortcake. She was a Christian and had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She was the wife of the late Daniel Rudd and together they shared their loved of flying, Ariel photography, and rescuing animals in need. She was also the wife of the late Louis James Whipp II, and together they shared their love of boating on the Chesapeake Bay, working their family farm in Odenton, Md. and raising their 3 sons; Louis James Whipp, III of Finksburg, Md., Joseph Howard Whipp of Warren, Pa. and George Adam Whipp of Kearney, Ne., all whom survive them. She is also survived by one brother; Ed Fraley of Odenton, Md., one sister, Paula Fraley Hall, of Odenton, Md., 13 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Services were held at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services in Westminster, Md. Interment was at the Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, Md.
