Marjorie Ann "Butch" Sherrod, 72, of Westminster, was suddenly called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Carroll Hospital Center. Born June 18, 1942 in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Helena Brightful. She was the wife of 21 years to Rev. Jessie Sherrod, whom she married June 26, 1994. Butch graduated from Lynchburg Seminary with a bachelors degree and became a Missionary and Evangelist trained for alcohol and drug counseling. She enjoyed reading her Bible and attending bible study. She was very active in many church ministries; one being her evangelism, working in the kitchen and the Upper Room Outreach ministry, along with her nursing home ministry.
