Martha J. Windisch, 87, of Manchester, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson.

Born June 27, 1926, in Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Marie Calimer Cromwell. She was the wife of the late Martin Robert Windisch Jr.

She was a member of Hazelwood Baptist Church and enjoyed teaching Sunday school and leading others to Christ.

Surviving are sons George L. Windisch and wife Patricia A., of Essex, and Martin R. Windisch III and wife Julia A., of Manchester; a daughter-in-law, Gail Stuart; sisters Florence Bryant, Geraldine Hall, Rosie Cramer and Margaret Schindledecker; brothers Ben and Butch Cromwell; grandchildren Ashley Hess, Danielle Stevers, Niki Windisch, Martin Windisch IV, Samantha Windisch, Glen House, Dawn House, Stephen Stuart and Wallace Stuart; and great-grandchildren Brandon, Justin, Brayden and Noah.

She was predeceased by a son, Wallace Stuart; a daughter, Patricia Cyran; and 14 siblings.

Friends may visit from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St., Hampstead.

A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ed Reese officiating. Interment will be private.
