January 26, 1930 - July 12, 2017 Mary Alice Taubenfeld, 87 of Westminster, passed away peacefully at home on July 12, 2017. Mary was born in Berlin, New Hampshire January 30, 1930 to parents Eva (Plaisance) and William Hogan, joining brother, Raymond and sisters, Marguerite and Lillian. In 1952 she met and fell in love with army serviceman Norman Taubenfeld. They married later that year and raised two daughters, Toby Ann and Eva Marie. Following Norman's discharge from the service they made their home in Maryland. Mary and Norman were married 62 years until Norman's death in 2014. Mary was a devoted wife and mother. She loved sharing time with her family and was surrounded by her daughters and grandchildren at her passing. Mary loved antiquing, flea markets and yard sales. She had a keen style and decorating eye. Mary had a sweet tooth and always enjoyed reading a good book with a bowl of ice cream or honey bun. Mary is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws, Toby Ann Joyce-Burnham, David Burnham, Eva Marie and Robert Minton. Mary had six grandchildren, Jessica Joyce Tayman, Jonathan Laird Minton, Maryalice Burnham Meister, Anna Minton Staccone, David Burnham Jr., and Luke Burnham. In addition, Mary had five amazing great-grandchildren, Cooper and Jacob Tayman, Owen and Maxwell Minton and Weston Staccone. Family and friends are invited to a memorial luncheon on Sunday, July 16, 2017, 1 o'clock in the afternoon, Greenmount Station Restaurant in Hampstead, MD.
