Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Haifley, 52, of Manchester, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson.

Born June 11, 1960, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Paul and Josephine McLaughlin Nusbaum Sr., of Eldersburg. She was the wife of Gregory Lynn Haifley.

She was a baker for Santoni's Market in Glyndon. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Manchester, where she was involved with the Linus Project and served on the church council. She was also involved with St. Joseph's Catholic Church C.Y.O.

Surviving, in addition to her parents and husband, are children Krista Haifley, of Manchester, and Brian Haifley and wife Lauren, of Churchville; grandchildren Corey Haifley, and Madison, Kayla and Shawn Pittinger; siblings Paul Nusbaum Jr., of Atlanta, Ga., and Bob and Cathy Nusbaum, both of Eldersburg.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 3184 Church St., Manchester, with the Revs. Matthew and Norma Schenning officiating. Interment will be in the New Lutheran Cemetery in Manchester.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Beth Haifley Memorial Fund, c/o PNC Bank, 2325 Hanover Pike, Hampstead, MD 21074.
