Mary Louise Calp, 85, of Hampstead, died Friday, June 21, 2013, at the Gilchrist Hospice in Towson.

Born Oct. 30, 1927, in Snydersburg, she was the daughter of the late Irvin George and Jenny Mildred Allender Rill. She was the wife of Charles Calvin Calp, to whom she was married for 67 years.

She previously worked at the Hampstead Sewing Factory, Bendix Corp. and had been an assembly worker at Black & Decker. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Upperco. She enjoyed playing bingo and penny slots.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are children Christy McGarity, of Catonsville, and Charlie Calp, Jr., Cass Calp and wife Traci, Craig Calp and girlfriend Cindy Kemp and Chad Calp, all of Hampstead; sisters Helen Gettle and Betty Thompson, both of Hampstead; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by siblings Elsie Hoover and Charles Rill.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grace United Methodist Church, 4618 Black Rock Road, Upperco.

Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester; and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
