Mary Margaret "Margo" Ibex Cotterell, 66, of Hope Mills, N.C., formerly of Westminster, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville, N.C.

Born Feb. 2, 1946, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late C. Elizabeth Groft Ibex and Robert E.L. Ibex Sr. She was the wife of James Cotterell Jr.

She was a 1965 graduate of Westminster High School. She drove a cab in Westminster in the 1990s, delivered groceries to the elderly and shut-ins, and provided transportation to the elderly for appointments.

She was a member of the Westminster American Legion Post 31 and belonged to the former ladies auxiliary of the Westminster fire company. She enjoyed playing bingo, collected pigs and spending time with her dogs. She especially enjoyed time with her family and grandchildren.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are daughters Mary Elizabeth Frazier, Laura Tucker and Kim Tucker, all of Maryland; sons Richard Hart, Jerry Tucker Jr. and Steven Tucker Sr., all of Virginia; grandchildren Kaloeb Crockett, Keri, Kaylee, Cheyenne, Colin, Carter, Steven Jr. and Emily Tucker, Erica and Brandon Bonham, Matthew Sparks, James "JJ" Cotterell IV, and Brooke Fisher; great-grandchildren, twins Mariah and Alaina Tucker; a sister-in-law, Kate Ibex, of South Carolina; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by brothers Robert, Richard and A. "Tommy" Ibex; a sister, Jane Groft Ibex; an infant son, Robert L.D. Hart; a nephew, Gary Groft; a son, James John Cotterell III; a sister-in-law, Inge Ibex; and former husbands Dale Hart and Jerry Tucker Sr.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Westminster First Church of God, Center Street, Westminster, with the Rev. Raymond Duvall officiating.

Crematory arrangements were handled by Colvin Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
