Marylea H. Miller, 84, of Timonium, formerly of Lonaconing, died Monday, April 15, 2013, at Emeritus at Westminster.

Born in Clariton, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Leslie Loraine and Edith Scott Henry. She was the wife of Louis W. Miller, who died March 3, 2010.

She was a kindergarten teacher and had worked in the jewelry business. She and her husband owned Scotchill Cattery, which bred and showed Sable Burmese cats. She was of Scottish heritage and a Christian.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law Patti Sharp and Michael Sharp, of Reisterstown; a grandson, Mic Sharp, of Reisterstown; brothers-in-law Donald Moore and Charles Miller; nieces and nephew Nancylea Kramer, Linda Morris, Gary Moore, Suzie Howick, and Amy Lapeyre; many cousins; and friends Tom Berry and Kieran Devine.

She was predeceased by a sister Alma B. Moore, who died on April 5, 2013.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Ruck Funeral Home, 1050 York Road, Towson.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens in Timonium, with the Rev. Chris Brammer officiating. Please meet at the lake.
