Michael Anthony Joseph Barry, 22, of Westminster, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson.

Born Jan. 18, 1990, in Baltimore, he was the son of Joanne Hachmeister Barry and George T. Barry III, of Wheeling, Ill.

He was a 2001 graduate of Carroll Springs School. He enjoyed being outdoors, people watching and taking pictures. He enjoyed being the center of attention and was known for his laugh and sense of humor.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are brothers George T. Barry IV, of Cherry Point, N.C., and Joseph Barry, of Wheeling; a sister, Rebecca Barry, of Towson; grandparents John Hachmeister, of Ocala, Fla., and Barbara Barry, of Baltimore; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by grandparents Joan Hachmeister and George T. Barry Jr.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster, with the Rev. Jack Lombardi officiating. After a luncheon, graveside services will be held in St. Patrick Catholic Church Cemetery in Little Orleans.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Arc of Carroll County, 180 Kriders Church Road, Westminster, MD 21158.
