Michael Linden Cohee, 44, of New Oxford, Pa., formerly of Columbia, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, at the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.

Born Dec. 30, 1968, in Bethesda, he was the son of Bette McArtor Cohee and Linden Cohee, of Taneytown. He was the husband of Christina King Cohee.

He graduated from Atholton High School. He was employed 15 years as a Washington, D.C., firefighter, Engine No. 15, Rescue Squad No. 3.

He was a member of the D.C. Fire Emerald Society, was an avid Harley rider and enjoyed the beach and his four daughters.

Surviving, in addition to his parents and wife, are daughters Bethany, Madison, Cameryn and Ava Cohee, all of New Oxford; sister and brother-in-law Sandy and John Keller, of Ellicott City; father-in-law C. William King; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Charles King Jr. and wife Ann, of Baltimore, and Robin Sczepucha and husband Carey, of Hampstead; nieces and nephews Katlyn Keller, Nicole Keller, Jake Keller, Jacob King, Garrett King, Natalie Sczepucha, Michael Sczepucha and Kaylee Sczepucha; numerous aunts and uncles; and brothers and sisters of the Washington, D.C., Fire Department.

He was predeceased by mother-in-law Dolores King.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of memorial service, 1 p.m. Wednesday at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to a fund for his children, c/o Carey Sczepucha, 2510 Shoal Creek Drive, Hampstead, MD 21074.
