Michael Lee McCarty, Died on Thursday, November 13, 2014 He was born September 28, 1946 in Washington DC the son of the late Russell G. McCarty and the late Anne Kathleen (Carter) McCarty He was a Warehouse Manager for Instant Hardware Delivery He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved the outdoors and spending time with family. Devoted father of Mary Shannon and husband William Smalts of VA Beach, VA. Loving grandfather of Steven and Justin Smalts;Dear Brother of Russell Patrick and wife Sharon McCarty of Mt. Airy, Elizabeth Anne and Michael Heard of Mt Airy, Thomas Glenn and wife Shari McCarty of Westminster. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call Monday 6 to 9 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A. 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD Where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 10 AM Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Mt. Airy, MD.
