Mildred S. Albaugh, 76 of Keysville, MD, died on Monday, July 14, 2014 at her home. Born October 19, 1937 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edna C. and Guy L. Stair. She was the devoted wife of George "Fred" Albaugh for 48 years. She was a 1956 Graduate of New Oxford High School. She was a seamstress at sewing factories in McSherrystown, PA, Frederick, MD, and Taneytown, MD. She also was employed by Western Maryland College (now Mc Daniel College) as a Housekeeper. She was a member of Keysville Evangelical Lutheran Church, the FHA National Grange, American Motorcyclist Association and the Maryland Retreads. She enjoyed touring the U.S. and Canada on their motorcycle, family picnics, and spending winters as a "Florida Snowbird". Surviving in addition to her husband are loving daughter Kelly and son-in-law Roy Novak of Keymar, MD, and Michael G. Albaugh of Waynesboro, PA; grandchildren Kiersten Campbell, Julia Novak, Brandon Novak, Nicole Albaugh, Kyle Albaugh, and 1 great-grand child; sisters Pauline "Polly" Rummel of New Oxford, PA and Edna "Cud" Duttera of Hanover, PA, and life-long friend Mary Lou Durmis of Pittsburgh, PA. She was preceded in death by brothers LeRoy "Buddy" Stair, Sterling "Sam" Stair, and Guy "J.R." Stair of Hanover, PA; sisters Marie Albaugh of Union Bridge, MD, Ruthie Utz and Delma Rynard of Hanover, PA, and Margaret Kaltreider of Brodbecks, PA. A Memorial Service will be held at Keysville Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7301 Keysville Road, Keymar, MD, on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at 1 pm, with her Pastor, Deacon Charles E. Barnhart, Jr. and Monsignor Martin Feild co-officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the , 8219 Town Center Drive, Baltimore, MD 21236.
