Mildred Viola Flohr Nunemaker, 76, of Keymar, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013.

Born Aug. 9, 1936, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Lula Otto Flohr. She was the wife of Morris L. "Jack" Nunemaker, whom she married July 9, 1960.

She was a member of Mount Union Lutheran Church, near Union Bridge. She retired from Moore Business Forms in Thurmont, after employment of more than 25 years. She also worked in Frederick with Custom Printing.

She enjoyed camping, cooking, flower gardening and spending time with her family.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are daughters Sandra Messner and husband David, of Gettysburg, Pa., Christine Jenkins and a companion, Shelia Andrew and husband Frank, and Doris Stambaugh and husband Larry, all of Rocky Ridge, Wanda Ottey and husband Ronald, of Sabillasville, and Jacquline Nunemaker, of Keymar; son Brad Jenkins and wife April, of Taneytown; sisters Margaret Hearen, of Arkansas, and Barbara White, of Walkersville; brother David Flohr and wife Patty, of Thurmont; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Kathrine Gregg; and brothers Edgar, Carroll, Lester, Roland and Kenneth Flohr.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hartzler Funeral Home, 404 S. Main St., Woodsboro.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Mount Union Lutheran Church, 5000 Middleburg Road, near Union Bridge, with church pastor, the Rev. Richard L. Michael, officiating. Interment will be in Mount Union Cemetery.
