Minnie Lee Petry Jackson, 81, formerly of Mount Airy, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Golden LivingCenter in Westminster, after a brief illness.

Born Aug. 4, 1931, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Upton and Mary Louise Steel Albaugh. Twice married, she was the wife of D. Oscar Petry, who died in 1981; and of William H. Jackson, who died in March 2012.

She was formerly employed at English American of Westminster for 31 years, retiring in 1996. She enjoyed camping at Rivers Bend in the summer, playing bingo, looking at family photographs and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are daughters Patricia Ann Yingling and husband Harry, of Westminster, and Julia B. Zepp and husband Tim, of Manchester; sons Richard E. Petry and wife Lisa, Thomas G. Petry and wife Kim, and Jeffrey L. Petry and wife Mary, all of Westminster, and William O. Petry and wife Karla, of Gettysburg, Pa.; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brothers Gaylord Albaugh and wife Margaret, of Summerfield, Fla., and George Albaugh and wife Doris, of Emmitsburg; a sister-in-law, Betty Albaugh, of Waynesboro, Pa.; and a brother-in-law, T. Clinton Crushong, of Union Bridge.

She was predeceased by a sister, Emma Jane Crushong; and a brother, Hezekiah U. Albaugh.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Hartzler Funeral Home, 310 Church St., New Windsor.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Clifford Elkins officiating. Interment will be in Pipe Creek Cemetery, near Linwood.
