Myrtle A. Warehime, 96, of Homewood Home at Plum Creek in Hanover, Pa., formerly of Lineboro, died Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Homewood.

Born Nov. 21, 1916, in Lineboro, she was the daughter of the late Denton M. and Mary C. "Kate" Monath Warehime.

She was a 1933 graduate of Manchester High School and had been employed as a seamstress at several local sewing companies.

She was a member of Lazarus United Church of Christ, and of the Sunday School and Bible Study of the church. She enjoyed tatting and crocheting as a hobby for many years.

The last of her family, she was survived by nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Gordon Warehime; and sisters Ethel Snyder, Agatha Kaltrider and Mildred Miller.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service, 10 a.m. Monday at Lazarus United Church of Christ, 5101 S. Church St., Lineboro, with the Rev. Sam Chamelin officiating. Interment will be in Lineboro Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Lazarus United Church of Christ, 5101 S. Church St., Lineboro, MD 21102-3132; or to the Lineboro Fire Company, P.O. Box 240, 4224 Main St., Lineboro, MD 21102.
