Nancy Ann Seals, 65, of Woodbine, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 19, 1948, in Woodbine, she was the daughter of the late Irene and James Gue. She was the wife of the late Elmer Seals.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her three grandchildren. She liked traveling to the mountains with her friends and her many trips to Chincoteague.

Surviving are children Gene Seals, and Heather Owens and husband Chris, all of Woodbine; grandchildren Kayla Shorrow and husband Scott, Tyler Seals and Tessa Seals; great-grandchildren Jonathan and Brayden Shorrow; sisters Georgia Seals, and June Kilby and husband Ernie; numerous nieces and nephews; and friends Linda Wolfe, Carol and Dave Cornell, Kevin and Jodie Biden, and Betty Welsh.

She was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Bob Seals.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgevillle Blvd., Mount Airy.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tim May officiating. Interment will be in Poplar Springs Cemetery in Mount Airy.
