Nancy Cecilia "Bobbi" Lancaster Corun, 59, of Westminster died peacefully at Dove House on July 7, 2016 after a valiant 2-year battle with cancer. Born on September 13, 1956 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of Robert and Cecilia Lancaster. Raised in Bethesda, she graduated from Walt Whitman High School and Montgomery Community College. As a young woman she was a member of the Congressional Roller Rink participating in competitive free-style and dance. After her marriage she moved to Carroll County and became active in Messiah Lutheran Church and St. John Lutheran Church. She participated in her church's home bound ministry sharing her love of arts and crafts. Bobbi detailed the lives of her church friends through scrapbooks and memory pages. Active in water exercise, she was a member of the YMCA and former member of the East End Athletic Club. Being a talented crafts person and artist, she turned paper, paint, glue and glitter into gifts from her heart. She was a devoted and knowledgeable pet owner, loved the whimsy of all things Disney and shared her passions with everyone. Bobbi is survived by her devoted husband of 38 years, William "Bill" Corun of Westminster and her 2 sons David Corun and Jonathan Corun both of Elkridge. Typical of Bobbi, she donated her body to science for research and the education of others. Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
