Nancy Lee Reese LePage, 86, of Eldersburg, died Friday, June 15, 2012, at Gilchrist Hospice Center in Howard County.

Born Nov. 5, 1925, in Charleston, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Henrietta Peters Reese and William A. Reese Sr. She was the wife of Charles Franklin "Frank" LePage, her husband of 68 years.

After graduating Charleston High School she began working at Kanawha Valley Bank and worked there from 1944 until 1957. She also worked at Kanawha Banking and Trust in 1980 where she worked in various capacities until she retired in 1985. Upon retiring, she continued to serve her community by volunteering at St. Francis Hospital and Hodges Nursing Home for many years. She was also very active in her churches at Ruffner and Westminster Presbyterian Churches in West Virginia, and at Springfield Presbyterian Church in Sykesville, where she served as a Sunday school teacher, an elder and as a choir member. She moved from West Virginia to Eldersburg in 2001.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Lon Brightbill, of Maryland; son and daughter-in-law Chuck and Jane LePage, of Missouri; grandsons Zac, Cody and Griffin Brightbill, all of Maryland, and Marshall and Michael LePage, both of Missouri.

She was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth Reese Johnson; and brothers Jack, William and Bobby Reese.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Owings Mills.
