Naomi A. O'Neill, 77, a four-year resident of Annapolis and a longtime resident of Sykesville, died Friday, May 3, 2013.

Born Feb. 8, 1936, in Chicago, she was the daughter of Howard and Mary Kokenge Lockhart. She was the wife of the late John O'Neill.

She was a 1957 graduate of Mount Saint Agnes College with a bachelor's in nursing. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, hiking and animals.

Surviving are daughter Karen O'Neill and husband Andrew Foland, of Riva; grandchildren Skylar and Kendall; and cousin Jim Evans, of Washington, D.C.

The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Hardesty Funeral Home, 12 Ridgely Ave., Annapolis. 

A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Road, Annapolis. Interment will be held at 12:30 p.m. at the Druid Ridge Cemetery, 7900 Park Heights Ave., Baltimore.
