Nimrod Davis, Jr., age 91 of Eldersburg, died Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Copper Ridge in Sykesville. Born October 12, 1925 in Watersville, MD, he was the son of the late Nimrod and Theresa Lena Davis. He was the husband of 62 years to Ann T. Davis. Nimrod was a veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a life member of American Legion Post 223 in Eldersburg and a Mason with the Masonic Solomon's Lodge 121 in Savage. Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters Theresa Ann Davis Andoniades of Myrtle Beach, SC and Roni Davis Reed of Catonsville, brother and sister-in-law Carl and Nancy Davis of Eldersburg, sister Irene McCartney of Westminster, grandchildren Cindy Stickles and her husband Rick, Tara Kohler and Wayne Davis and great grandchildren Alexander and Ella Stickles. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Haight Funeral Home and Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at 1:45pm at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, 11501 Garrison Forest Road, Owings Mills.
