Pamela R. Carter, 67, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, died Monday, January 2, 2017, at her son's residence in Westminster, and is now at peace with her husband. Born August 1, 1949 in Canton, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Joan E. Purdy and Robert F. Jones. She was the wife of the late James "Jimmy" Carter. She retired as a public school counselor. She loved pets and was known as the "Crazy Cat Lady". She was a proud 35 year member of A.A. She is survived by son Isaac Fulkerson and wife Emily of Westminster, a sister Deborah Green, grandchildren Eden, Lucas, Caoilfhinn, and Brendan, a great-grandson Aeos and niece Kate. She was predeceased by a grandson Chase Lowe. A Celebration of Life Service for Pamela Carter will be held Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 4 p.m. at John Street Quarters, 28 John St., Westminster, MD 21157. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster or the Humane Society of Carroll County, 2517 Littlestown Pike, Westminster, MD 21158.
