Patricia Ann Bennett, 71, of Gettysburg, Pa., died Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at home.

Born March 5, 1943, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Frank Albert and Miriam Blair Bennett.

She was a 1961 graduate of Sykesville High School, and a 1962 graduate of the Baltimore Business College. She was a legal secretary at WilmerHale Law Firm in Washington, D.C., where she was employed for 26 years. She also worked at RiteAid in Hanover until March 2014.

She was an active member at the Freedom Valley Church of Gettysburg where she served in the Shining Stars Therapeutic Riding Ministry. She enjoyed serving her family, church and community.

Surviving are daughter and son-in-law Michelle "Shelley" Myers-Kline and William E. Kline, of Gettysburg, Pa.; sons and daughters-in-law Bryan Patrick Sr. and Tammara Sue Myers, of Savannah, Ga., and Robert "Tony" Sr. and Alpha Myers, of Hanover, Pa.; brother and sister-in-law Gerald and Linda Bennett, of Damascus; grandchildren Heather and spouse Derek Rotz, of Aspers, Pa., Daniel Kline, of Littlestown, Pa., Jeremiah Myers, of Hanover, Robert Anthony Myers Jr. and Shaquille Dontae Myers, of Bowie, and Bryan Patrick Myers Jr. and William Blake Myers, both of Savannah; great-grandchildren Bradley and Kirstin Rotz, of Aspers; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until the time of memorial service, 7:30 p.m. Monday at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, chapel entrance, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, with the Rev. Jerry Stoltzfoos officiating. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Shining Stars Therapeutic Riding Ministry at Freedom Valley Church, 3185 York Road, Gettysburg, PA., 17325.
