Patricia Whitledge Manolovich, 73 years "seasoned", of Manchester, MD received her wings in Heaven Wednesday, Oct 15, 2015 at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster, MD. She was born September 7, 1942 in Lewis, DE, the daughter of the late Thomas C. Whitledge and Etta L. Burtt-Whitledge. With a loving heart, Pat cherished her family and always put them first in her life. She dedicated her time and energy to recognizing the needs of others. She enjoyed fellowship with her friends and served St. John's United Methodist church and community whole-heartedly, for which she loved volunteering her time. She had a passion for her crafts and believed that "busy hands are happy hands". Pat was a true fighter. She was a cancer survivor of 19 years and truly believed in advocating for what is right. She had a zest for life with a kind heart and humor, which always brightened any room. Pat chose to donate her body to science to further research cancer study and survival. Pat is survived by one son; Bobby Dickerson and wife Jin-Hee of Fairbanks, Alaska; four daughters; Kaaren Priester and husband T.C of Manchester, MD; Kim Dickerson and fiancé Adam Richter of Baltimore, MD; Mindy McCord and husband Paul of Neptune Beach, FL; Kelli Waldrup and husband Bruce of Eldersburg, MD; eleven grandchildren; Shannon, Rachel, Taylor, Karli, Ted, Steven, Natilie, Timmy, Becca, Tori, Lytton; one great-grand son Jayden; soon to be great-grand son Jeremiah. Siblings Anne Hallman and husband Jack. She was preceded in death by her Forever Love, husband Walt Manolovich; siblings Arthur, Inez, William, Margie, Tommie-Etta, Dottie, and Louise. The family would like to extend gratitude to Dr. Kruter and staff, Dr. "B" Bogdachewskyi, Carroll Hospital Center IMC & CCU, the staff at Carroll Hospice Dove House, her church family, and her very special friends for their love, support, diligence, and kindness. Memorial services will be held Sunday, October 18, 2015 at 4:30 pm, located at St. John's United Methodist Church at 1205 North Main Street, Hampstead, MD 21074, Rev. Dr. Melissa Rudolph officiating. In lieu of flowers, Pat wished for donations to support Carroll Hospice Dove House, Baltimore Cancer Support Group, and St. John's United Methodist Church, Hampstead, MD.
