Paul Adam Black, 46, of Hampstead, died Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Carroll Hospital Center.

Born Feb. 23, 1968, in Baltimore, he was the son of Rodger M. Black, of Westminster, and Patricia L. Lloyd, of Downingtown, Pa. He was the husband of Lynn Strevig Black.

He was a 1986 graduate of Westminster High School. He served an apprenticeship as a journeyman tool and die maker at Marada.

He enjoyed motorcycles and spending time with his daughter.

Surviving, in addition to his parents and wife, are a daughter, Sarahrae Black, of Hampstead; a sister, Michelle Black, of South Carolina; a step-mother, Jeanie Black, of Westminster; a step-father, Wayne Lloyd, of Downingtown, Pa.; a mother-in-law, Betty Strevig, of Westminster, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Mark and Disa Strevig, and David Strevig, Amy and Tim Dorsey, all of Westminster, and Lisa Strevig and Bryan Howard, of Taneytown.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster, MD 21157, to help the family defray funeral expenses.
