Paul D. Snyder, 70, of Eldersburg, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at home.

Born Aug. 9, 1942, in Baltimore County, he was the son of the late Wilbur Newman and Mary Grace Peach Snyder. He was the husband of Natalie A. "Dollie" Snyder.

He had worked as an insurance adjuster for many years. He had last worked for Farmers Insurance as an antique automobile claims adjuster.

He was a graduate of Milford Mill High School, where he had played baseball. He served in the Army. He enjoyed trap shooting, and had been past president of the Carroll County Trap Shooting Club and the Heart of Maryland Trap Shooting Club. He also enjoyed shooting pool.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughter and son-in-law Laura N. and Joseph Sullivan, of Finksburg; sisters Patricia Turchi, of Randallstown, and Anita Snyder, of Kent Island; grandchildren Cassidy and Randy Sullivan; a goddaughter, Mary Pat Turchi; and nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Park.
