Paul Mark Huebner Sr., 90, of Westminster, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Carroll Lutheran Village Healthcare Center.

Born June 27, 1922, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Edward H. and Cecelia A. Huebener. He was the husband of Ruby Gertrude Huebner, who died in 2011.

He worked as an instrument mechanic with Standard Oil of New Jersey and also with Proctor and Gamble, both in Baltimore, until 1984 when he retired.

He enjoyed farming, gardening, hunting, fishing, winemaking, singing and guitar playing, beekeeping and amateur radio. His call sign was WB3JN0. He had been a member of St. Johns Catholic Church, the Old Line Statesmen Barbership Chorus, Central Maryland Beekeeping Association and the Amateur Radio Club in Westminster.

Surviving are children and spouses Paul M. Jr. and Kathryn Huebner, of Roanoke, Va., Marietta L. and Edward Barnes and Robert K. Huebner, all of Westminster, and Timothy G. Huebner, of Fayetteville, N.C.; grandchildren Danielle, Jason, Stephanie, T.J. and Billy Huebner, and Steven, Matthew and Kevin Barnes; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at  the funeral home with Deacon Paul Cooke officiating. Interment will be in Meadow Branch Cemetery.
