Paula Magrogan Mathias, 57, of Westminster died Monday, December 8, 2014 at Carroll Hospice Dove House. Born December 9, 1956 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Ann Elizabeth Tewey Magrogan of Baltimore and the late John Irwin Magrogan. She was a Senior Claims Officer at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Surviving, in addition to her mother, are children Jennifer Magrogan Mathias of Westminster and John Patrick Mathias of Westminster; siblings Gerard Magrogan of Ellicott City, Teresa Leipold of Sykesville, Michael Magrogan of Finksburg, Regina Dillard of Pasadena; uncles Robert Magrogan and Leo Tewey; and former spouse R. Douglas Mathias. The family will receive friends at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster on Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster. Interment will be at Westminster Cemetery.
