Paula Zamerelli Ehmann, 54, of Westminster, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012, after a four-year long battle with uterine cancer.

Born June 5, 1958, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Carl F. Zamerelli, of Westminster and the late Rose Faraone Zamerelli. She was the wife of William F. Ehmann, her husband of 31 years.

She was a 1980 graduate of Towson University. She was an early childhood teacher for the past 31 years for the Carroll County Public Schools, Sacred Heart of Glyndon School and Holy Family School.

She was active in the Relay for Life and chaired a team for numerous years. She was a parishioner of St. John's Church in Westminster, where she taught religious education for several years. She enjoyed trips to Hampton Bays, N.Y., where she vacationed each summer. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving, in addition to her father and husband, are daughters Jena A. Ehmann, of Westminster, Sarah C. Ehmann, and Rachel E. Ehmann of Frederick; a sister, Carla Zamerelli-Clifford, of Westminster; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and one great-nephew.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, where a Christian Wake service will be held at 4:30 pm.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John's Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster, with the Rev. Michael Carrion officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
