Pauline E. Mattison, 91, of Randallstown, passed away peacefully at Dove House in Westminster on Sunday, November 16, 2014. Born November 4, 1923 in Catonsville, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Florence Deitz. She was the wife of the late Daniel F. Mattison Sr. She had been a homemaker and a school bus driver for Baltimore County for many years. She always loved gardening and the outdoors and it's animals. She would go camping often with her husband and friends to Western Maryland and Winchester, Va. Surviving are son Daniel F. Mattison Jr. and wife Patricia of Catonsville, daughter Linda P. Mattison and husband Tom Vail III of Westminster, son Raymond E. Mattison and his wife Mary of Union Bridge, grandchildren Chris and his wife Kim, Brad and his wife Donna, Ray Jr., Robert and Brandy Mattison, Jason Mattison, Lisa Hensley, Bill Hensley and his wife, Chris and Wayne Eller and his wife, Terri; she was also blessed with great grandchildren: Zoe and Mason Hensley, Travis, Milo, Kalen, Rylan, Riley, Stormie, Sierra, and the late Tyler Mattison, and Thomas, Aidan and Mackenzie Vail. She was predeceased by her brother, the late Edward "Bud" Deitz Jr. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 19th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Rd., Sykesville. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 20th at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wildlife Rescue, 2231 Bulls Sawmill Rd., Freeland, MD 21053 or to Carroll Hospice Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
