Pauline "Polly" Connifey Isenberg, 81, of Bryantville, Mass., died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at Blaire House in Milford, Mass.

Born Oct. 5, 1931, she was the daughter of the late John and Celia Connifey. She was the wife of William "Bill" Isenberg, her husband of 61 years.

She was born and raised in Avon, Mass., and was a graduate of Avon High School. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, gardening and sitting in the sun at her home on Stetson Pond.

She and her husband met at Avon Junior High School, married and raised their family in Avon before moving to New Jersey and Maryland. At the age of 60, she packed her bags and moved to Bangkok, Thailand, with her husband for his job. They enjoyed many exotic vacations in Southeast Asia, including trips to Burma, Vietnam, Singapore, China and Australia, during which she took an elephant ride.

At retirement, she moved with her husband to her favorite home on Stetson Pond and spent many years enjoying her family and friends, and playing with her grandchildren at "the Pond."

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are children Paula Connolly and husband Martin, of Sandwich, Mass., Deby Carlson and husband Peter, of Franklin, Mass., and Bill Isenberg and wife Lori, of Taneytown; grandchildren Ryan Connolly and wife Stephanie, Dana Robinson and husband Scott, Nikolas Carlson and wife Kristen, Beth Carlson, Abby Isenberg, Katy Isenberg and Christine Isenberg; and great-grandchildren Ava Connolly and Callie Robinson; brother John Connifey and wife Grace; a brother-law, David Isenberg; sister-in-law and friend, Shirley Bowman; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Connifey.

Per her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
