Pauline Pearl Keys, 100, of Mount Airy, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at Lorien Nursing Center in Mount Airy.

She was the wife of the late Elmer T. "Ted" Keys Sr., her husband of 51 years.

She was a homemaker and worked in her family grocery store.

Surviving are daughters Faye Hanrahan; and Joyce and husband Richard Vecchiarelli; daughter-in-law Anne Heiner; sister Gertrude Caplan; sister-in-law Rebecca Berman; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by son E. Theodore Keys Jr. and by son-in-law Jack Hanrahan.

A graveside service will be held at noon Monday at Beth El Memorial Park, 9700 Liberty Road, Randallstown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Red Cross, 4800 Mount Hope Dr., Baltimore, MD 21215, or to Carroll Hospice Inc., 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
