Peter John Lineen, 67, of Westminster, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at Carroll Hospital Center.

Born Nov. 9, 1945, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Joseph Francis and Margaret Mulligan Lineen. He was the husband of Frances Battle Lineen, who he married Jan. 6, 1968.

He was a roofer and safety inspector for R. D. Bean. He served in the Marine Corps from 1964 until 1968. He was known as a hard worker and enjoyed being with his family. He enjoyed going for long walks and rooting for the New York Giants. He was of the Catholic faith.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters and son-in-law Kathleen and Donald Daggs, of Sweetwater, Tenn., and Maureen Lineen and partner Dianah Grubbwheeler, of Bremerton, Wash.; siblings Margaret Walsh and Dennis Lineen, both of Staten Island, N.Y.; a grandson, Ryan Daggs, of Sweetwater; and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Lineen.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, with Chaplain Ann Schlossnagle of Carroll Hospital Center, officiating Interment will be private.
