Phyllis Ann Pickett, age 84 of Westminster, died Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Carroll Lutheran Village in Westminster. Born December 3, 1931 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Charles R. and Naomi Williams Croft. She was the wife of the late Charles S. Pickett. She had been a bank manager for many years. She began her career at Sykesville State Bank and worked for Maryland National Bank and Nations Bank before retiring. She was a member of Brandenburg United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Primetimers senior group. She enjoyed taking bus trips and volunteering at Carroll Lutheran Village. Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law Charles L. and Carol Pickett of Union Bridge, and John E. and Debbie Pickett of Hanover, PA, daughters and sons-in-law Nancy and Gregory Kaylor of Woodbine, and Beverly and Mark Snyder of Finksburg, grandchildren Michelle Pickett, Meghan Kaylor, Bryan Kaylor, Meredith Lanham, and Matthew Snyder, and great grandchildren Taylor Pickett and Riley Lanham. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1pm at the Krug Chapel at Carroll Lutheran Village, 200 St. Luke Circle, Westminster, MD 21158. The family will receive friends at the Krug Chapel on Tuesday from 12 noon until the time of services. Interment in Wards Chapel UMC Cemetery, Randallstown. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Carroll County Humane Society, 2517 Littlestown Pike, Westminster, MD 21158.
