Ralph Ronald "Ron" Unglesbee, age 66 of Finksburg, died Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster. Born November 18, 1950 in Maryland, he was the son of the late Ralph Norwood Unglesbee and the late Arlene Margaret Joy Unglesbee. He was the husband of Linda Lee Unglesbee of Finksburg. He had served in the Army National Guard. He had worked as a grocery manager for Giant Foods for 30 years and more recently had worked as a mortgage loan officer. He enjoyed golf and playing cards and chess. He also liked bird watching and playing billiards. Surviving in addition to his wife are sons Timothy Unglesbee and his wife Kristina of Finksburg, and Donald Wood of Westminster, daughter Donna Welsh and her husband Richard of Dover, DE, sisters Fran Nickey and her husband Galen of Towson, and Pamela Semies of Edgewood, and grandchildren Anthony, Justin, Samantha, Sabrina, Noah, Ashley, Emily, Lillian, Daniel and Leslie. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Rd., Sykesville. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 10:00 am at Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 7225 Slacks Rd., Eldersburg. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 8:45am - 9:45am prior to the service. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery in Mount Airy.
