Ralph Roy Terry Rogers, 51 of Westminster, died Sunday, July 13, 2014 at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore. Born December 26, 1962 in Baltimore, he was the son of Betty Lue Sizemore Rogers of Sykesville and the late Ellis Rogers. He was the owner and operator of Rogers Contracting. He enjoyed gymnastics, football, wrestling, weightlifting and body building. He was a guitarist and the founder of the Allysin Creed Band. He was the strength and spirit that kept the Rogers family together. Surviving in addition to his mother are his children, Zack Rogers and Katie Rogers, both of Sykesville, and their mother Lisa Brown of Elkridge, brothers Dennis Lawson of TN, and Eddie and Ronnie Rogers, both of Sykesville; sisters and brothers-in-law Darlene and Don Sizemore of TN, and Debbie and Richard Perry, and Valerie Rogers, all of Sykesville and nieces and nephews; John, Denise and Joshua Lawson, Speedith and Tyler Kidd, Crystal Rogers, Shannon Perry and R.J. Rogers. He is also survived by 18 great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Dwayne and Mary Rogers. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville. Interment in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 6-8pm.
