Rebecca Marie Gottschalk, 63, of Timonium, died peacefully Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, surrounded by family and close friends.

Born Jan. 22, 1950, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Hazel Osborn Ashe, of Westminster, and the late Arthur Ashe.

She began her career in the banking industry. She then worked as a real estate agent for O'Connor, Piper & Flynn. Most recently she worked as a settlement officer for Key Title. She was known as a consummate professional who often formed close and lasting friendships with her coworkers. When not working, she was known to be spontaneous, creative, artistic and fun.

Surviving are son Patrick B. Cullison and wife Hope Cullison, of Hampstead; a sister, Peggy Beverly, of Hanover, Pa.; a grandson, Graham Cullison; and a close friend, Rich Warner.

She was predeceased by a brother, Todd Ashe.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Eline Funeral Home, 11284 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Upperco. Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
