Regina C. Corbin (Genie), 69, passed away surrounded by family on May 19. Born in Baltimore to Louis and Clara Clemens, Genie retired from the Social Security Administration and became a prolific quilter and a teacher to many. She founded the Quilts for Charity in Calvary Methodist church in Gamber, MD and created many quilts over the years to support causes including Project Linus. Genie is survived by her husband of 42 years Robert, sisters Bernadette and Mary, sons James and his wife Robin, and Michael and his wife Carol,and by grandchildren Hailey, Layne and Lorelei. Family and friends will hold a memorial service at St Paul's church in Sykesville, MD on June 10 at 11:30AM.
