Richard Charles Delehey, 46 of Bear, DE passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 21 2017. He was born on November 3, 1970 in New Jersey, the son of William Burke Delehey and Nancy Weinrich Delehey. He was a graduate of Woodlawn High School and Catonsville Community College. He was owner and operator of Yellow Dog Landscaping, as well as a Radiology student at Delaware Technical College. Richard loved fishing, fast cars, caring for his dogs, rooting for the Baltimore Ravens, and spending time with his beloved nieces. He was predeceased by his father. Surviving in addition to his mother are his sister, Laura Delehey Wolfsheimer and husband John Wolfsheimer, sister Paige Delehey Pohl and husband Richard Pohl, and his three nieces Kelsey Anne Wolfsheimer, Lindsey Jane Wolfsheimer, and Kodie Ellen Pohl. A Mass celebrating his life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, May 6 2017 at St. Joseph's Catholic Community located at 917 Liberty Rd, Sykesville MD 21784. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA of Maryland.
