Richard E. Freeman Jr., 90, of Westminster, died Sunday, May 20, 2012, at Golden Living in Westminster.

Born Feb. 11, 1922, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Richard E. Freeman Sr. and Annie L. Griffith Freeman. He was the husband of Nettie V. Russell Freeman.

He was an accountant for CR Daniels and served briefly in the Navy.

Surviving are children and spouses William L. and Carolyn Freeman, Linda C. and Bill Peacock, Treva and Gary Barnes, Janice and Ron Blaney, and Barbara and Jeff Copoulos; 16 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a sister, Treva Freeman.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Westminster Baptist Church, 354 Crest Lane, Westminster. Private interment will be in Lorraine Park Cemetery in Woodlawn.
