Richard William Walker, 57, of Hampstead, died suddenly on Wednesday July 9, 2014 in Rawlins, WY. Born January 12, 1957 in Baltimore, he was the son of John and Dolores (Sipes) Walker of Perry Hall. He was the husband of Kathy J. (Kauffman) Walker to whom he had been married 30 years. He graduated Archbishop Curley High School in 1975 and worked at Robert L. Walsh Co. until it's close in 1997. Rick was owner of A&N Glass, Inc.; a family business he opened in 1997. He was equipment manager and coach with Manchester Baseball from 1996 to 2003. He enjoyed his Harley, project cars, and woodworking. His greatest pleasure was time spent with family and friends. Surviving in addition to his wife and parents is daughter, Paula Berg of Phoenix, MD; sons, Adam Walker and Nathan Walker, both of Hampstead; granddaughters, Amber Ludwig, Leia Price; great-grandson, Eli Ludwig; brother, John T. Walker III of Bel Air, MD; sisters, Nancy Hutschenreuter of Glen Arm, and Susan Walker of Perry Hall. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 17, 2014, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St., Hampstead. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 18, 2014, 11:00 am at the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester with Rev. Michael Roach officiating. Interment will be in New Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the National MS Society, 2040 Linglestown Rd., Suite 104 Harrisburg, PA 17110.
