Rita Centofanti Campitelli, 80, of Westminster, died April 14, 2015 at Carroll Hospice Dove House. Born December 23, 1934 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Americo and Rina Pallini Centofanti. She was the wife of the late Joseph Nicholas Campitelli, Sr., who died November 7, 2009. Rita formerly worked as a fitness instructor at Leisure Health Spa in Westminster. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church. Rita enjoyed fitness workouts, Zumba, volunteering at the Gift Shop at Carroll Hospital Center, writing poems, and especially being with her family and friends. She also helped out at the family business, Campitelli Masonry. Surviving are daughter Anita M. Campitelli of Westminster; sons and daughters-in-law Joseph N. Jr. and Wanda Campitelli, Nicholas A. Sr. and Karen Campitelli and Anthony M. and Catherine Campitelli, all of Westminster; brothers and wives Robert and Marge Centofanti and Vincent and Chris Centofanti, of Eldersburg; and grandchildren Ryan and Dylan Brubaker, Joseph III, Christofer, Gianna, Nicholas Jr., Alissa, Michael, Jordan Campitelli, and Ben Larmore, of Westminster. The family will receive friends at the Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 11 am at St. Joseph Catholic Community, 915 Liberty Rd., Eldersburg. Officiating will be Father David McGuigan.
