Robert D. "Bob" Hale, 63, of Hanover, Pa., died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at home.

Born Feb. 12, 1949, he was the son of Holise E. Martin Hale, of Upperco, and the late John G. Hale. He was the husband of Barbara W. "Barb" Reiblich Hale, his wife of 37 years.

He was a veteran of the Army. He was employed with Towne Pride Interiors in Hampstead for 28 years. He attended Hanover First Church of God. He enjoyed camping in state parks and vacationing in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children Leann Starner and husband Kevin, of York Springs, Pa., and Amy Brooks and husband Jeremy, of Spring Grove, Pa.; grandchildren Ryan Brooks and Megan Starner; siblings Phyllis Goretsas, Arla Mae Martin and Delmar Hale, all of Hampstead, Janet Martin and Gerald Hale, both of Manchester, and Darlene Ramsay, of Glen Rock, Pa.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of a celebration of life service, 11 a.m. Thursday at Hanover First Church of God, with the Rev. Jerry Shoap officiating. Interment will be at 1:45 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Hanover.
