Robert F. Linard, 81, of Littlestown, Pa., died Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, at Gettysburg Hospital.

Born March 8, 1932, in Lancaster County, Pa., he was the son of the late Foster Worst and Alice Hillard Linard. He was the husband of Mary Elizabeth Steger Linard, who died Oct. 7, 2003.

He was retired as plant manager from Littlestown Hardware & Foundry and continued working at Hanover Lantern, also as plant manager.

He was a member of The Intersection Church in Gettysburg, Pa.; a charter member of Silver Run/Union Mills Lions Club; and a member of Nationwide Foundry Association and Westminster Moose No. 1381. He enjoyed his family, being at his river house and boating.

Surviving are daughter Connie L. Keller and husband Mark, of Littlestown; son Gregory A. Linard and wife Deborah, of Westminster; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his oldest son, Ronald W. Richards.

Viewing will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Little's Funeral Home, 34 Maple Ave., Littlestown.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at The Intersection Church in Gettysburg, with his grandson-in-law, the Rev. Jeremiah Herbert, officiating. Interment will be at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Gettysburg.
