Robert Lloyd Carmack, Jr., 69, of Westminster passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Carroll Hospital Center. Robert was born on October 31, 1947 in Baltimore, and was the son of the late Robert Lloyd, Sr. and Anna M. (Rouse) Carmack. He was the loving husband of 48 years to Susan E. (Sharkey) Carmack. Robert was a graduate of Mt. Airy High School. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Robert was employed as a welder for Westinghouse for 19 years, and retired from Pella Windows in 2009. He was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking, drawing, and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is survived by son Robert L. Carmack, III of Westminster; daughter Stacey N. Carmack Erich and husband Wayne of Hampstead; brother Charles A. and wife Meredith Carmack of Florida; sister Mary B. and husband Ronnie Stephan of Westminster; grandchildren Sarielle, Isabelle, and Timothy; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 10 am to 12 pm in the main house at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster with a memorial service at 12:00 pm in the chapel of the funeral home, with Rev. Martha Clementson officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the , 4217 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, VA 23060 or , 2002 Clipper Park Rd., Suite 110, Baltimore MD 21211.
