Robert "Bob" Leslie Green, 57, of Finksburg, died Sunday afternoon, Sept. 8, 2013, at home.

Born June 1, 1956, in Gettysburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Ronald Leslie Green and Ruth Viola Schmidt Green. He was the husband of Margaret "Peg" Shortley Green.

He was a 1974 graduate of Westminster High School.  He worked as an account manager at Finch Services for the last 18 years, and prior to that worked at McGregor Printing for 21 years.

He enjoyed coaching for Finksburg Baseball and Gamber Smallwood Optimist Football.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughter Jacqueline Rae Green and fiance Sean Howley, of Finksburg; a son, Ronald Erik Green, of Finksburg; sisters Patricia Ann Nottingham and husband Darrell, of Ocean City, and Deborah Lynn Kendall, of Connecticut; a grandson, Logan Edward Howley; a father-in-law, Thomas R. Shortley, of Westminster; a mother-in-law, Janice Beauregard, of Finksburg; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Edward Green.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Deer Park United Methodist Church, 2205 Sykesville Road, Westminster, with the Revs. Stephen W. Dawson, company chaplain for Finch Services, and the Rev. Patricia Dols co-officiating. Interment will be in Deer Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be sent to the Kimmel Cancer Center, One Charles Center, 100 N. Charles St., Suite 234, Baltimore, MD 21201, to benefit sarcoma research.
