Robert Lee Carr, Jr., 55, of Westminster, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 8, 2018 in Wilmington, North Carolina. Bob was born on May 6, 1953 in Baltimore to the late Sandra Funk Carr and Robert Lee Carr, Sr.. He was a graduate of Westminster High School. Bob was a Senior Project Manager with Clean Harbors, a position he held for 15 years. Bob is survived by his children; son Michael Weyant and his wife Tess of Manchester; daughter Diana Ibex and her husband Rocky of Westminster and his daughter Courtney Barry and her husband Jason of Severn. He also leaves seven grandchildren, sisters Robin Silva and Melissa Carr, many loving nieces and nephews, and his former wife, Brenda Carr. Bob was a hard-working man who was dedicated to his family and career He enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids, being on the water and all things outdoors. He loved anything to do with music & movies and was the king of scratch offs. Bob spent most of his career traveling the world and meeting so many great people on whom he left a lasting impression on. From his contagious smile and laugh to his persuasive personality he was a man who stuck to what he believed in. He will truly be missed, never forgotten and loved deeply by many. In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by his brother-in-law, George Silva. His family will receive visitors on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Rd, Westminster. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 18 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Dave Meador officiating. Interment will follow at Meadow Branch Cemetery.
