Robert Lee Triplett, age 82, of Finksburg, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018, at his home that he had built himself, surrounded by his loving family. Born September 15, 1935 in Randallstown, MD he was the son of the late Harvey A. Triplett, Sr. and Bertha Triplett. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Rosalie (Keith) Triplett, son Duane Triplett and wife Diane of Finksburg, son Chad Triplett and wife Kathy of Ellicott City, daughter Donna Ziemski and husband Lee of Hampstead, daughter Deb Warfield and husband Mike of Manchester, brother William H. Triplett and wife Joan of Finksburg, brother Charles R. Triplett and wife Joyce of Randallstown; grandchildren: Jake, Emily, Megan, Dylan, Kaylee, Michael, Kelly and Paul; and a great-grandchild: Brody. He was preceded by his son, Mark and a brother, Harvey A. Triplett, Jr. Bob was retired from Westinghouse Industrial Equipment Division where he had been a maintenance manager and master electrician. He enjoyed spending time with family, meeting friends at Royal Farms, rebuilding cars, welding, electrical work and fixing things. At Bob's request, his body will be donated to the Anatomy Gifts Registry Program for the advancement of science. A special thank you to Carroll Hospice for honoring his wish to be home. A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held in his honor at Wesley Freedom United Methodist Church in Sykesville on Wednesday, March 21st at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
