Bob spent most of his time growing up at the local speedway's helping family members and friends on their race cars; he later worked as Pit Steward/Tech Inspector for Lincoln, Trail-Way and Susquehanna Speedway's. Bob loved to read about the latest advances in racing technology so that he could share that knowledge and experience with fellow racers. In recent years, Bob loved spending time with family members, especially all of the grandchildren and great grandchildren; he also loved his dog Adaijah. Bob is survived by four children, son Randy Lynn Jones and his wife Kamala of Hampstead, MD; three daughters, Wanda Lynne Williams and her husband Howard of New Windsor, MD, Tammy Lynne Salazar and her husband Juan of Spring Grove, Cathy Mae Lewter and her husband Keith V. of McSherrystown; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; many other loving friends at several local Speedways. In addition to his parents and wife, Bob was preceded in death by two great grandsons, Bain and Kai Light. A service to celebrate the life of Bob will be held at 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, PA with Pastor Dave Miller officiating.
