Ronald Gambrill Coleman, 74, of Westminster, died Friday, April 12, 2013, at Carroll Hospital Center.

Born April 9, 1939, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late John Coleman and Elsie Wehn Coleman. He was the husband of Fran Coleman.

Before retiring he worked for Green Spring Dairy for 35 years and Nyquist for 11 years.

He was a member of the Reisterstown Moose Lodge and was a Civil War re-enactor with the First Virginia Company D since 2001. He enjoyed fishing and participating in Civil War re-enactments. He was an avid Ravens and Orioles fan. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. John Catholic Church.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Ronnie Coleman, of Baltimore; a stepdaughter, Lisa Finley, of Gaithersburg; brothers Jack and George Coleman, and Joe Valenza and wife Barbara; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren Shyla and Bobby Jr.; and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by brothers Tom and Donald Coleman.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until the time of service, 7 p.m. Friday at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. The Reisterstown Moose will hold a service at 6:45 p.m. Interment will be private.
